I am a wife of 31 years, mom of 3 grown children, Mema to 2 beautiful granddaughters, dog mom, cat mom and chicken mom. I live in a small town in Central Maine and have a little one-acre homestead! I love connecting with nature and being in nature.

Where does art fit into all this? I think it has run through my veins since my physical body came into existence! I have been creating for as long as I can remember. Why start this business now? Well as with most people 2020 threw me for a loop just trying to survive the craziness of it all. I found peace and comfort in creating, whether it was painting, playing with clay or using other mediums to create. I thought why not share my love of art with others. Why not hold classes so people can come and create right alongside me? My goal was to keep the group size small so people could create in an atmosphere that was inviting and not intimidating, where one on one help is given if needed. Then, why not share my creations with others who are not able to attend classes?

In 2022 I was talking with my wonderful friend and reflexologist about where I wanted to go with my art, my goals, etc. With her Native American heritage, connection to mother earth and creator, the name of my studio was born. In her vision, spirit came to her and told her I was white raven. It was this day White Raven Studio came into existence.
